As many of you know, "COMCAST On Demand" has picked up"The Tree Behind The Church" to be part of their 'On Demand' roster. Discovered and distributed by PALM Pictures, the first run started September19th 2006! Having started mid month we were told an exceptional number for the last 11 days of the month would have been 2700 viewers. We were told to expect about 1000 because the movie is unknown nationwide. The report showed an ASTOUNDING 32,285 People watched "The Tree Behind The Church" in just 11 days placing it among the highest ranking movies in its genre! We were certain that the October numbers would level off to the 8,000 or below range but again to everyone's surprise - 37,785 viewers! The film continued to achieve these outragious numbers through out it's entire four month run! Further, the reports show that fewer than 1.5% hit the Fast Forward button while watching. Combine this figure with - each VIEW representing an estimated 3.2 people and it brings us to - an AMAZING 444,800, almost a half million people, have watched 'The Tree Behind The Church' straight through without interruption!
It has started its second run and is now on target to SHATTER its previous record breaking stats. The first month's views - 80,654! The second month's views - 82,672! We are beyond ecstatic. We are currently in discussions with PALM VOD - the distributing company - concerning our inclusion in their upcoming deal with NetFlix and Blockbuster Streaming Video in '08.
What Box Productions & Miracle Studios are currently in negotiations with a theatrical investment firm for production of our next feature, "Just Like My Father."
